What is a good bucket filler?

WALT- Write a explanation . Topic:"How to be a good bucket filler"
What is a bucket filler
You might know that some people have a invisible bucket that they fill
with good and kind words and thoughts.
How does bucket filling work?
FILLER: I can fill other people’s bucket by saying/doing kind things for them,
make them smile, saying “HI” and inviting other people into your game when they
are by themselves.
I can also fill someone’s bucket by showing our new people around so,
they know where to go next time and also be a good friend to them and
including them not excluding them.
I can also fill someone’s bucket by introducing them to some people when
they have no friends and when they are to shy to talk or introduce themselves,
you should fill their bucket by making them feel confident to talk to each other
and to have a positive attitude towards each other.
DIPPER: There is a difference between a Bucket filler and a Bucket dipper.
A bucket dipper is a person that does things like hit, fight, talking while other people
are talking, using mean words and we all know that leads to bullying and a Bucket
filler is a a person that helps people and is a person that has respect, kindness and
helpfulness towards each other.
My final statement
Bucket filling with good, kind, positive words and actions including ideas can have
MOST the awesome and wonderful effect on all people in the WORLD.

This is my story on what a AWESOME day at Kapa haka

On Thursday, We went to the Memorial hall to do Kapa haka. As we were getting changed I felt nerves and when we arrived to the hall I felt like I was going to faint and then, when we got on the stage I felt like I was on Taumata at school and as we sang the songs I was looking at the people that was on the cheers watching us and I was trying to spot my mum and there she was looking sitting down watching us and as we sang the first song that was about Whaea Dawnette and Matua Hui called E te Mate and every time Matua Hemara would sing the group would do louder because we were the biggest group there and the loudest school there.

We finally finished our first song and we moved to the next song and then the next and then the next and then it came to the last song and since I was the nerves I felt like just standing there on stage and just look at everyone that was there and then we walked to our bags and got on the bus.

Finally we got back to school and had lots of fun.

This is our Election for New Zealand.

Whaea Dawnette.

Whaea Dawnette

This is the worst day I had ever experienced in a school, losing the best admin officer.
We were waiting in the front of the marae to have a powhiri and as we walk into the marae we have to wait for the boys and I was standing there, waiting for the boys to hariru the people that was there and to respect Whaea Dawnette by kissing her or to touch her coffin and it was finally my turn and she was pale and to respect her I touched her coffin and carried on. We had finished and all of the matuas that had to talk had finished. As we finished uncle Bill stood  up and said his farewells and then we finished and it was our turn and matua Hemara had to acknowledge what whaea Dawnette did for us and we sang some songs.

Ideal Sustainable gardening.

WALT-Write what YOU  think you is good for your garden.

..My Ideal Sustainable Garden..

This term the boys and girls of Rm4 will be competing in a garden competition.

The rules are simple

  1. Produce an edible garden that is sustainable for the whole year.

This means that each group must……
  • Plante seasonally
  • Maintain healthy soil
  • Produce healthy organic plants.
  • Maintain and gather food throughout the year.

..What does Organic gardening mean..

Organic means you won't be using synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, but that doesn't mean your plants are left to fend for themselves. There are an array of tools you can use to bolster plant health and ward off pests.

..What does this mean for our gardening..

Know modern man-made synthetic fertilizers.

To make a bee bath, take a wide, shallow dish or tray and line the edges with flat rocks. Pour water over the rocks and into the bottom of the tray. Place it in your garden near the flowers that attract the most bees. The bees will be able to land on the rocks and access the water.
How do we get rid of insects pest?
From flypaper to flytraps, there are simple no-chemical ways to get rid of pesky flies. Maybe a bag of water might even keep them from ever coming into your Garden!!
